In partnership community organizer, poet, and teacher Jason Magabo Perez, Radical Nurses Collective is hosting Nursing Solidarity: A Story Circle in hopes of achieving the aims of holding space for nurses and the grassroots, organic knowledges they bring to radically transformative justice and to promote a genuine, humble, and transparent politics of solidarity and accountability across various communities.
Though these objectives are broadly applicable for nursing in all settings and times, we feel an especial urgency to create this space for nurses now as they navigate the Covidicene. We have planned our first story circle for June 11, 2020 at 1930 ET/1630 PT with future dates to be determined.

Robin Cogan, MEd, RN, NCSN, FNASN, FAAN, is a Nationally Certified School Nurse (NCSN), currently in her 22nd year as a New Jersey school nurse in the Camden City School District. She was presented the 2018 Rutgers University – Camden Chancellor’s Teaching Excellence Award for Part-time Faculty. Robin writes a weekly blog called The Relentless School Nurse.
