For the readers of my blog, I will be one of the formal speakers, scheduled to talk in the 5:00pm hour!
Ahead of nationwide rallies hosted by March For Our Lives, please join Brady, Team ENOUGH, and our co-hosts March For Our Lives, American Federation of Teachers (AFT), and This Is Our Lane for an activation on the National Mall on Friday, June 10.
We will unveil a powerful demonstration about America’s gun violence epidemic with a clear message: The Senate’s inaction is killing our nation’s youth.
The event will run from 12-7 p.m. ET.
- The display will be unveiled at 2 p.m. ET and run through 7 p.m. ET.
- An informal open mic will run from noon through 4 p.m. ET.
- A formal speaker’s program will begin at 4 p.m. ET. We will hear from Sen. Chris Murphy as well as teachers, students, doctors, school nurses, survivors, and more.
- The informal open mic will open again from 6 – 7 p.m. ET
We will be located at Union Square, located near 3rd Street S.W., between Pennsylvania Avenue, N.W., and Maryland Avenue, S.W. See map.
