How fun to be on the cover of Nurse Deck! This picture was taken this summer at our NASN conference. It was my first time attending as the Director for New Jersey. You can see my excitement, wrinkles and all. I wear them proudly for my 62 years, 37 as a nurse and 22 as a school nurse. I have earned them, like so many of colleagues. Here we go again friends, back to school, year number four of COVID. But, as Glennon Doyle says, “we can do hard things.”
