The recently released report, “Wisdom from Nurses So We Never Again Mishandle a National Healthcare Crisis.” is a collaboration between The American Journal of Nursing, Johns Hopkins School of Nursing, and New Voice Strategies. As described in their press release “it contains the wisdom of nurses on the frontline of fighting COVID-19 and proposes 14 solutions to ensure the country Never Again so badly mishandles a healthcare crisis.”
“This report should be read by every health care and political leader in our country. If we listen to nurses, protect nurses in their workplace, and give nurses a voice at the table, we will all be safer and healthier,” said Maureen “Shawn” Kennedy, MA, RN, FAAN, Editor in Chief of the American Journal of Nursing.
