Hope is a strategy (not a wish). Hope plays a vital role in all aspects of life. – Kathryn Goetzke, Chief Hope Officer, The Shine Hope Company
Activating the idea that hope can and must be taught to counterbalance the overwhelming sense of hopelessness that permeates our world is the foundation of the work of Kathryn Goetzke, Founder, and Chief Hope Officer of The Shine Hope Company. I was invited to share my Hope Story with Kathryn as she guided me through her evidence-based tool, the SHINE Hope Framework™.

Kathryn is a keynote for the upcoming NASN 2024 conference and is presenting on Saturday, June 29th at 8:15 am where she will kick us off by sharing her own hope story, elevating hope science, teaching us how to write our own hope story as well as share resources available for kids.
Don’t miss this new Hope Matrix podcast episode with Kathryn and me, as it hints at what’s to come. Special thanks to School Health for sponsoring Kathryn’s work to activate hope in schools, school nurses, and in their organization. Hope IS a strategy that is measurable and teachable.
