Today another school shooting unfolded, this time in a suburb of Denver, CO. I heard about the shooting on Twitter, not on the national news. School shootings have become so commonplace that they are no longer covered on the national news. How can we continue to accept this as inevitable? I know I won’t and I am not alone!
Watch this video message from students and parents. Sadly, we have seen this before:
Here is a Twitter message from the Colorado School Nurses Association:
I would like to connect with school nurses who have been present in their schools during a shooting. If you have been in this situation or can connect me with school nurses who have been, please contact me at relentlessschoolnurse@gmail.com
