I am sharing my new perspectives piece that was just published on the AFFIRM Research website. The impact of gun violence crosses generations and the ripple effect is felt over decades. Here is my family’s story, sadly not unique or an isolated incident. There is much work to be done to stop the shooters before they shoot. This is why I support the work of AFFIRM and other organizations that are focused on gun violence prevention research.
