Have you ever jumped in the deep end of the pool? That’s how I felt when I was invited to co-edit the latest edition of the School Nursing Certification Review book with Janice Selekman, DNSc, RN, NCSN, FNASN. Janice took me under her wing and we did a deep dive into the review book that had not been updated in almost 10 years.
Much has changed in school nursing in the past decade and we had our work cut out for us. We spent many Saturdays together in February and March until COVID turned our face to face meetings into virtual connections. This is the cover of the newest edition of the book, and I am proud to have contributed to this body of work.
For school nurse colleagues who have thought about sitting for the national certification exam, the new edition is hot off the press waiting for you! Here is a link for more information: https://www.nbcsn.org/school-nurse-certification-review-book/
