The Relentless School Nurse: Accountability is on Election Day, November 3rd!

I am a nurse voting for Joe Biden and Kamala Harris. Voting is at the top of my to-do list, is it on yours? I am anxiously awaiting my ballot to arrive in the mail and plan on delivering it in person because every vote counts. It is our obligation as citizens of this country to embrace our right to vote. The will of ‘We, The People” is exercised on election day.  It is one way that we can influence policy, in fact, outside of being a lawmaker, it is our most impactful action.

Living through four years of the Trump Administration has brought this country to our knees. We are a nation in disarray, caught in the chaos of a failed president whose incompetence has dismantled our most trusted institutions. What we do have though is the RIGHT TO VOTE. Granted, there are unprecedented efforts to block this hard-earned right, we must embrace it, protect it, and use it like never before.

Accountability is on Election Day. We must hold Trump accountable for his actions and in-actions. I attempted to write a list, it depressed me to see it laid out point by point. It started with White Supremacy and ended with children in cages, you can fill in the blanks in between. The evil of this administration has infected our country with the same insidious nature as the coronavirus. Cruelty is the point of most of the unfathomable policies that Trump has touted.

If Trump is re-elected he will be unleashed to continue to inflict the ‘American carnage’ he spoke of in his alarming inaugural speech on January 20, 2017. We are living this carnage at the hands of the inaction of a failed president who has lied repeatedly to the American people. There are tapes…

Remember accountability is on election day, November 3rd!
