We can all celebrate the voice of nursing by supporting Northwell Health Nurse Choir when they perform on the live show of America’s Got Talent! Their very first audition earned them a Golden Buzzer. Here is the performance that sent them to Hollywood for the upcoming live performance:
The Northwell Health Nurse Choir will be back on the America’s Got Talent live stage on Tue. 8/17 at 8pm EST, with the live results show on Wed. 8/18 at 8pm EST. Tune into their performance and vote for them to continue on to the semifinals.
In June 2021, the Northwell Health Nurse Choir appeared on the season opening of America’s Got Talent. This Nurse Choir comprises 18 of our 19,000 nurses at Northwell Health. Their moving rendition of “Stand By Me” garnered Howie Mandel to hit the golden buzzer, which advanced them automatically to the Live Shows.
The Live Shows will be aired on August 17th and 18th. I am reaching out to ask you to consider casting votes for this amazing Nurse Choir team. I would also ask you to consider sending this request out to your friends, family, and colleagues. How wonderful would it be to see nurses win this very competitive competition!
The voting window is from 8pm ET on Tuesday through 7am ET on Wednesday. Voting can be done on the AGT website at https://nbc.com/AGTVote and each voter can vote 10 times per act per unique email address. The Wednesday, August 18th show will reveal the outcomes of the votes.
The pandemic – during which Northwell staff treated 200,000 COVID patients – was particularly difficult for nurses. But, the power of music bonded the choir members together and lifted their spirits after an exceptionally challenging year. The Choir wants to show the world that hope can always be found.
