  • Co-founded a community collaborative to improve health outcomes for students
  • Co-principal investigator for two grants
  • Faculty in school nurse certification program where I teach the next generation
  • Preceptor for nursing students
  • Preceptor for school nursing students
  • Worked through a global pandemic  
  • Published in peer reviewed journals
  • Published Op Eds in Newsweek, CNN Opinion & USA Today
  • Interviewed on CNN twice
  • Become a Johnson & Johnson School Health Leadership Fellow
  • Inducted as a Fellow in The American Academy of Nursing 
  • Published an article in Current Trauma Reports 
  • Invited by Representative Lauren Underwood to speak at a press conference about the impact of gun violence in schools
  • Been an opening and closing keynote speaker
  • Provided care to 900 students in a PK – 8th grade school, by myself, for 12 years
