The Relentless School Nurse: If You Missed the HealtheVoices Digital Series, You Can Catch it Here!

Here are links to the informative series from HealtheVoices that highlighted how healthcare professionals are using social media to educate, connect, and advocate to improve care. I participated in Session Two!

Social media shapes the way people make decisions about healthcare. The ability to access credible health information online from the point of diagnosis through chronic care is critical – sometimes lifesaving – but it is not an easy task.

To continue meeting the needs of patients and other online health advocates in our increasingly digital world, we are expanding the HealtheVoices program to create offerings for healthcare professionals (HCPs).

HealtheVoices for HCPs will foster education and conversation among a broad and diverse array of professionals in any area of practice, including physicians, nurses, surgeons, physician’s assistants, physical/occupational therapists, medical students and residents, dentists, mental health professionals and more. The series of virtual events will include lively discussion with leading HCPs and social media experts to share insights and tools that will help the community better serve patients and provide broader access to reliable, accurate health information through digital channels.

If you are a healthcare provider and use social media to better serve patients, HealtheVoices for HCPs is for you — join us for our digital series this fall!
