Adopt a School Nurse is a crowd-sourced donation program to equip school nurses with much-needed air-purifies for our school health offices. School buildings’ HVAC systems are woefully inadequate, keeping many brick and mortar schools closed. For those that have opened, school nurses are working to keep students and staff safe under extreme circumstances. Many of us do not have the necessary medical-grade personal protective equipment, let alone air purifiers, for our health offices. Budgets are strained and nerves are frayed, but here is an opportunity to ask for assistance!
