The Relentless School Nurse: The Year No One Wants to Remember, But We Must Never Forget

There are so many lessons to be learned from 2020 that will be studied for decades.  Will we as a nation take intentional steps to eradicate COVID19, gun violence, climate injustice, and racism? They are undeniably linked, unearthed by a global pandemic that had a laser focus on those most vulnerable and least protected. It took a global health emergency, with the unimaginable loss of life for the privileged among us to finally acknowledge what has always been present for communities of color.

As another year closes for The Relentless School Nurse, I want to share the top 10 blog posts of the year. It is no surprise that COVID19 was the theme that runs through the most widely read blog posts of 2020. This year saw a big increase in visitors to my blog. In 2019, we had 43,480 views and in 2020 that number rose to 186,344.
